I am using Microsoft Access 2000 and set up "Units in Stock" as a number Field;?

and in the Field Properties set it up as a Byte under Field Size, but when I add more than 3 digits, they will not be accepted. I thought that I would have been able to add many more digits than that. What am I doing wrong?

Go into the table design
Click on that field
In the field properties change it from byte to long integer.
