The link provides a thousand digits of pi. With a lot of work and little help from mnemonics, most people can learn a thousand digits.
Dr Bruno Furst popularized a system for using consonants for each of the digits. See the following link for details:

You have a long way to go. The record is several thousand places, if I recollect. Pi is known to millions or possibly billions of places. Good luck. I recommend that instead of wasting your time on pi, you memorize some stanzas from some of the works of Shakespeare or Pope. Or some of the great poets. MUCH more useful and more fun too!
