The power window on my 1999 Jeep Cherokee Grand Laredo driver side doesn't work. I am unable to bring the window back up and here it is on a Saturday and I have no one to take it to. I have a job interview on Monday and this has to happen to me! How can I bring the window back up so that no one throws a drink into my vehicle or tries to steal it? How much is this going to cost?

Have someone help you by putting the switch in the up position and, with the door open, reach along the inside and outside of the window and with your palms pressing the window, lift it up. If you're lucky, the motor will hold the window in the raised position. Use some duct tape on the top and sides to hold the window. After it is repaired, use some WD-40 and a rag to remove the duct tape glue.

Maybe it's a fuse, but I doubt it. If it's electrical then you're lookin' at some moderate expense here. It looks like you're gonna have to duct tape a garbage bag on your window...or maybe cardboard. My window has done that and it actually helped me to drive down the road and THEN try to make it go up. Something about the motor running seems to help it. So, get goin' down the road and make it go up little by little.
