Yes....my buddy did. I would not recommend it. The reason their pricing is so affordable is because of the cheap quality in paint they use. For the first couple of months, your car will look like it did straight from the dealership. After a while, the paint will fade in color, start to peel, and bubble up. You basically get what you pay for. Maybe it was just that particular shop my friend went to, but I've read from other testimonials about the same instances as well.

earl Schieb is very cheap they have their own paint mix and limited colors on the el cheapo paint special... after a year or 2 it crackles and looks like a hard boiled egg shell shattered before you peel it...
if you want to go cheaply but also want it to look good do this... have the body work done and deliver the car in primer with all the chrome trim removed to your local Macco shop...
preferably when they run that $529.00 special at half price (during the slow season)
There is a 68 Barracuda Fasback that was done this way about 10 years ago and it still looks good... owner waxes it by hand 4 times a year at least

I built a high performance 280zx 2+2 and did the body work myself then took it to earl sheib and got a "GREAT" deal, but after 2 yrs i discovered I got what I paid for. the body (unibody) began to rust horribly and uncontrollably underneath the new paint job. it became so bad that it completely ruined the project, and as it turns out the repair wouldve cost over 10X what I paid earl sheib to "paint" the project. it ultimately ruined the entire project.

extremely not. They use rubbish components utilized employing unfavorable techniques which will appear like crap alongside with fade and peel interior a 300 and sixty 5 days. good paint artwork expenses money like the rest. visit a physique shop for real paint artwork and get some estimates. it is going to be greater advantageous than what you prefer to spend, yet going the cheap path will value you much greater interior the lengthy run.
