I am Metis... My dad's side of the family is Cree (aboriginal) and Scots. My mom's side of the family is Acadian French, Mi'kmaq (aboriginal), English, and Irish.
That makes me the lucky recipient of several great cultures to celebrate. And some have the nerve to refer to me as a 'halfbreed'. HA! Little do they know! :)

I am adopted so my origonal Ethnicity was half German half Irish, my ethnicity now is three quarters Irish, one quarter French-Canadian. And some German. I don't deny the german, but the ethnicity I grew up as is much more a part of me.

I'm from Texas and that's a whole 'nother ethnicity all by Itself!!
YOU'ALL!!! I would love to see Germany (missed the opportunity twice---too busy raising teenagers) and Austria though. My mother toured all the cathedrals (?) or palaces in Austria when she went on a Holy Land Tour with her Church group and she was overwhelmed by them. I think she loved Austria as much as the Holy Land. Glad she got to see Jerusalem though because the Middle East is not conducive to touring now and she got to see it. Good For My Mother!!!

I am a mutt. I have a bunch of Ethnicities in my blood. The onlyone's I know I don't have are the Dark Skinned Ethnicities (IE: African American, Latin, Korean etc...) I am white as heck.
