I never really noticed it, but Undertaker has had like 5 versions of that funeral song. I don't know where you can listen to them altogether so you can clearly tell the difference, but in visiting youtube and dailymotion and viewing some of his matches, you can clearly see the changes in his music. Personally, I hated his music on his debut. It sounded awful. He had a song that sounded very similar to his music at his debut. It changed a little bit. Then he changed it up again at Summer Slam 94' when he returned to meet his clone. You can tell. Because if you watch Summer Slam 94', Paul Bearer will make his entrance to the Undertaker's 2nd theme song, and when the Undertaker returns, the music changes. That is when I start to like his music and his entrances at Summer Slam 94' and like at Royal Rumble 95'. The Undertaker would end up getting yet a new version of that funeral dirge at Survivor Series 95' when he returned with a mask after his injury from Yokozuna and Mabel. And then...

he completely altered his music toward the end of the dead man era which I think was a total mistake, and now there is another version of his deadman song. So I think it's everytime he makes a return from the dead, his music seems to change at least back in the 90s when he was at his prime in particularly 94' 95' and 96' were the best music years and taker years for me.
