No friendship is worth wasting over a guy. But that being said, why don't the two of you sit him down and confront him. Trust me, you'll laugh about it years from now. If he does like you, she'll have to accept it. If he likes her, you will have to as well. Guys will come and go, but best friends are precious.

I've been in your shoes! And I told both the guy and girl about my feelings for each and then steped back and lost both a friend and a potential boyfriend! The guy didn't want to come between friends and my friend thought I had betrayed her somehow! years later I bumped into both of them (at different times) . She was having an affair with her boss (her second time), And he was a complete loser , having 4 kids with 4 mothers, and taking care of none! so I guess your situation will work out the way it's supposed to ..... good luck!!!!!!!!

Here is your choice. Pick one or the other because you may not have both. Picking the guy will end your friendship. In the long run the answer depends on what kind of friend you really are. I am betting you are a good one.

Boyfriends come and go, but best friends, stress the word BEST friends, are a lifetime of wonderful sharing and closeness no boyfriend could ever give you. Keep your friend and the heck with the boy. they are like buses, there will be another one along any moment. What you are feeling is lust not love. So just move on but keep your friend.

Whoa... let's back up. Maybe you don't like him MORE, or maybe it's just another crush.

But it's what they always say that always works the best : drop the guy. It's not worth ruining your friendship. Back off the guy, and maybe one day if he does like you, he'll favor you over her. But if you don't want anyone to get hurt, I just think you two should go for two different guys!

Answer these questions: how do you know you like him more? is he worth more than your friendship with her? Focus less on him and let things work out by themselves. You don't really know which one of the two he likes best, or even if he considers either of you his choice for a girlfriend.

just let time pass. I have a friend that went out with this guy, even though another one really liked him, the first one broke up with him, and now the other one is going out with him, and they have been in a great relationship for a very long time.

How good of a friend is she to you. If shes your true friend its not worth loosing a friendship over. You know the saying (men come and go but true friends last forever.) most people are lucky if they find one true friend in a lifetime.

Honestly you shouldn't even let a guy come between the two of you. Friends will always be there for you but guys come and go.

i think you shd have an honest discussion with ur friend, and at the end of it, one of you should voluntarily step out of the triangle.
I had done that with my best friend, when we fell for same girl. He stepped out nobly because he had came later on in the relationship, and i had known the girl for long.
See if it works for you.
