I think if you got married at a young age then yes you can go through a mid life crisis at 36. Due to the fact that the person feels as though they missed out on their young years and now they want to live life acting young again.

You can have a mid life crisis at any age between 35 and 55, my father went trough his just recently at 54 and my mother at 37. My Husband at age 39. But they did not act out in disrespectful ways to the other partner. they just became depressed because they were only a few years away from an older age. and were afraid that they wouldn't be able to do the things they once were able to do.

I suppose you can, not exactly mid life but whatever you choose is ok. Labels do not solve the problem though, finding a solution is more important than writing it off to "mid life".

you bet ... nowadays it's happening at a younger age because we have been so focused on material things our souls are weak and need to be nurtured. So take your time and find some good books that can guide your through this.

I know someone who started Hot Flashes at 38, so I guess the answer is yes.
