Emergency ipod shuffle help!!!?

my ipod is identified in my comp. as removable disk g. when i try to open it, it says "request could not be performed because of an I/O device error" PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

use itunes to restore the software on your shuffle.

Well, i have an ipod nano and when that happens to me, it usually means that...

Have u hooked ur shuffle up to another computer??

if u have that is the ONLY computer use.

Thats the way it is with nanos. Hope that can Help:)
