this is only happening because u guys know eachother so well... and after a while they begin to take the relationship for granted, but if u tell ur friend how u really feel, if their ur true friend, they will stop what they are doing to u.. :) and dont worry everyones best friends have stabbed them in the back at one time or another, unfortunately ive had it done to me one too many times...

It isn't the ones you trust most that stab you in the back. It is that it just hurts/or bothers you more because you trust them the most. Say someone you only knew about a year or a few months, betrayed you-it wouldnt bother you as much because you don't have all that time and feelings about that person. ( i mean just a friend relationship.) You would probably just dump that person as a friend. But when it has been a long term friend, you have a lot of time and feelings invested. So it bothers you more.

Because they are close enough to stab you,in more ways than one. Once someone reaches puberty they are who they are until they die.People change, just not that much,so I suggest you completely ignore that friend for now.Hopefully respect between the both of you will build since the other realizes that you need not spend your time with this certain back stabbing friend...Take care

Probably because they know you the best and therefore know how to really hurt you. Learn not to trust so easilly then you won't be so hurt or surprised when they turn on you.
I've heard the saying that most people can count their real friends on one hand.

People who are close can hurt you the worst, which is what happens in many cases. You can't really do anything about what your friend did to you - except move on. Obviously he isn't a true friend and you don't need that in your life.
