Hello there, I am fairly new to charting, and this is my 3rd cycle doing so. I was wondering if anyone has been able to tell by looking at their chart before they have missed a period that they have ovulated. My high temps this month are a bit higher than they have been in past months. Is it possible to know from that? Or do they generally vary from month to month? I am currently only 8dpo, and going nuts.

I meant if you can tell if you are pregnant! Not ovulated, I know that I have ovulated. I am currently at 8 DPO

I still have my chart from when I got pregnant, and my temp stayed up after ovulation, but I don't know what my other charts looked like because I didn't keep them! It may have been the same, or maybe not!! Sorry if that doesn't help much...just giving my experience!! You could be though!! Good luck!!

i'm no professional, yet your temp going up means that it can be a sprint one!! if it keeps for the subsequent couple of days, i think of i observed 10 at once days of it going up, 8 extra to be precise then you definately are in all probability preggers. i observed on your october chart that on day ten it went down, bummer! yet this one seems promising because of the fact at present is day ten and it keeps going up!! i don't in all probability comprehend what triphasic means besides the challenge-loose definition of three ranges. i'm imagining, the low bbt ranges until now your era, the spike of ovulation, then the dip decrease back off after ovulation and then the spiking of the belief. i think that's what they're speaking approximately, returned, i'm no professional. good success!! ** in basic terms appeared at it returned and it feels like the sixteenth you ovulated, in basic terms fyi.....

if you are pregnant your temp. will stay high and continue to stay high and most likely elevate a little more and more , or stay at a much higher level. at the end of your charting period (not in the middle)
if your period is coming it will drop right back down.
frustrating i know. Used this method 3 times.
good luck

You might get some cramping and discharge when you ovulate. Then you would know.
