useful, attactive arts & craft items...like a twig picture frame with yr pic in it...
id be impressed if a guy learned to knit and made me a scarf and hat
if shes into vintage things or antiques...spending some time thoughtfully persing a local goodwill or antique shop for inexpensive things that she wld enjoy is a good idea...like ifshes into retro tee-shirts thats not a hard thing to find and not expensive either..also vintage books are easy to come by and often inexpensive
does she like poetry at all? or can u write poetry well? U can always go to a craft store, buy a cheap roll of parchment paper or a scroll, get a calligraphy stencil and fountain pen, and painstakingly, lovingly hand-copy a poem for her
there are alos experiences: get one of those disposable cameras, maybe 1 for u, 1 for her...and go on a walk thru a park or along a trail, snapping photos of each other ahving fun...then develop them and put them in a little album
u can get her an inexpensive print/poster reproduction of a piece of art she enjoys or that u enjoy or that reminds u of her or yr time together
u cld instead of thinking of what to get/buy that will impress her...think of what u can DO that will impress her..because if she has money she can really buy whatever she wants, but an experience with u is something she cannot create on her own...recognize the value that is u and work every unique and wonderful angle that u have...
good luck in love

Surprise her with something she's not expecting - it's the silliest little things that make a girl happy. If you can't afford to buy expensive gifts then don't even try to buy something that can be expensive, go for things which only come cheap but mean something.
If she's the girly type maybe a nice cuddly toy (don't care how old she is, you're never too old of these). If you ever end up staying over together try cooking her breakfast (toast will do!) and putting a little vase of flowers with it. Make her something - if you have a photo of a great moment together get a copy made and frame it in a nice frame for her.
About a year ago my boyfriend and I went walking on a beach and found some fossils - he drilled a hole through one and strung it with a bit of thread from my sewing box; it's nothing special but it made me smile for days that he'd bothered to go to the effort of making me something; I think that's the key here - make sure it means something cos a bit of thought is worth more than the most expensive present on earth.

Your time. Just spend a little of it with her. Tell her how you feel. Pick her some wildflowers. make her dinner. The ideas are endless, i would soooo love for a guy to come over, cook me dinner and just sit and talk. But of course some girls are money hungry and will not be impressed by actions and require gifts, if that's the case, you may want to reevaluate and see if you really like her.

gifts I think wont mean as much as maybe make her dinner, buy her a simple red rose, take her to her favorite place, most important be honest. Give her a back rub and give her a gift certificate hand written to redeem to you for a day of anything she may want to do. Make her a card rather than buy one with your own words. If you have to get a gift if she has her nails done a gift certificate or one for a local massage parlor that is ligament

if she's rich she can buy anything she wants and probably nothing you can afford is gonna be good enough, so the best gift is a gift from the heart - something with sentimental value - try writing her a poem (if she likes that kind of stuff), or make a record with your favorite songs, or an album with your pictures - something like that - something personal that mony can't buy

well since she is rich and probably has just about everything maybe you could try making her something from your own hands? Some people say thats tacky, but when you put time into something and your love I'm sure she would just LOVE it. You could paint her a picture or build something useful for her. Poems, planned interesting dates, something that means a lot to you-that you wan't to share wit her, paint something for her, a box of Pop Tarts, a cool CD-start with some Cocteau Twins, Joy Division, or Skinny Puppy.

Aw, that's sweet. Give her something homemade, like cookies or a cute secret admirer card. Roses are a lot cheaper than they used to be, too... one rose will impress her as much as a dozen!
However, you shouldn't have to buy your way into a relationship... it can help though. =]
