Its fairly good. With Chipper Jones at third, and A-Rod out, its a lot better. I also like the pitchers. Out of a 10, i'll give it a 9!

IM a twins fan some i might be a little homer to the twins players. Santana IS the best pitcher in baseball. You did not go wrong with Verlander either. Mourneau will have a star season again but i would not expect his mvp numbers from last year. 5 less homers same average less RBI too he had about a million. You have a good team but if possible strengthen the back ups because you will run into injuries.

is it a standard yahoo league? you have too much speed. i'll try to move justin verlander to someone who might over pay for him right now and package a guy like freel for a outfielder with some power. Try to go for rookie like Delmon Young or some lesser known player with good stats potentials like Baldelli, Ibanez, or Cuddyer. Then you might want to use the extra roster spot to pick up a closer cheap. Pinero, McClung, etc.

If Phillips gets traded mid-season, all you have to do is get a better 3B and a third closer. Send Drunk Ryan to a team that's starving for steals and try to get someone like Valverde in return, then package Larry and Verlander to someone with a better 3B (asking for A-Rod, Cabrera, or Wright would be stretching it, but someone like Rolen should be attainable with such a trade).

team looks decent- you should try to package 2 players for 1. Wait for one of your younger guys, like Verlander or Bush, to get hot- then trade 2 for a stud type (like a Manny). 2 for 1 deals work out great to get studs. if you're in a 12 team mixed league, you can always pick up a young pitcher who starts to get more consistent.

leve it its perfect but put mark prior in for dave bush and maybe trade for a better 2nd baseman

great team get rid of prior hes injury prone. try to upgrade the bench. try to pair teahen and bush for a better 2nd baseman
