During my early marriage, my husband and I would play two handed gin rummy. He always beat me. I continued to improve, and finally the day came when I won a game. He was so infuriated that he upset the table and threw the cards. (We are no longer married) Make sure that if you help her you are prepared to lose sometimes. Can your ego handle it? I agree you should coach her, but once the game actually becomes competitive, ask yourself if you can be a gracious loser. Is Nintendo your domain? If yes, play a game she is good at and learn something from her

The best thing to do is take time to teach her how to play the game using the controls don't push her into trying to learn while you are beating her it will only cause her to get frustrated and not want to play it at all. Take time to teach you and her together play a single players game and show her how to do it by walking her through it. Hey it go really draw you closer together especially if you hold on to her and show her how the movements of your body and hands make the game work easier.

Well, try an approach which makes her better and better at it. It's okay to beat her at Wii, but if you think it may ruin her confidence, then you may want to help her get better.

I have a friend that is worse then me and when we play a slack off just enuoght to keep things close (an intention mistake hera and there, but nothing too obviouse) Still win if you can but let her stay within reach so she will work harder and get better.
