There are many species of ant. The ants you're familiar with in an urban environment are in no danger of extinction.

Some species of ants living in tropical rain forests may be threatened by habitat removal. Other species may be displaced by non-native introduced ants.

There are many different species of ant...are you talking about one kind in particular? It's my understanding that ants are alive and well, and we are not killing them faster than they can reproduce. I think all ant populations will be viable for many millenia to come.

no. so you know how fast ants reproduce? like thousands of babies at a time. then you have to think about places like the amazon where we are at a disadvantage

there are so many ants in the world we would never be able to kill them all. there is nothing to worry about.
