Ecolink is right. CHONPS... Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Sulfur. Phosphorus is very important... all cell membranes are made of a bilayer of phospholipids not to mention ATP and DNA.... don't forget the Phosphorus.

If you take the four types of organic compounds (carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids), the elements in those compounds are C, H, O, N, P, and S. Got to have the phosphorus for DNA.

Carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur. Many other elements are needed also (in smaller quantities), such as calcium for bones and iron for hemoglobin. Half your body weight is oxygen.
