Hi, currently i'm running a pci geforce 5500 (256), but i'm in need of an upgrade. I was considering buying a gefore 7900 or ati x1600 because i don't want to spend more than 200 dollars.

now to the question, can i run two graphics cards stably or if i buy a new card should i take the old one out? Also, which graphic card would u recommend?

Running to different graphics cards isn't viable, as the drivers would clash. As to new cards, depending on what you want to do, my ATI Radeon X1600 Pro runs most games at high quality well, and is fast enough in 2D stuff.

you cannot run two graphics cards on the same pc because it will cause a drivers problem.. you can however, use two cards which use the same drivers

I recommend the atix1600. its not the best one around, but its good enough for an average gamer
