not gonna happen

San Diego is a team that has won without a premiere WR for years so why would they give up the useful Turner to move up that high when they have obvious need in the secondary after their horrible playoffs? If you look at their past drafts, they obviously know how to get the most out of the draft.

I think it would be a great deal for the San Diego but no team would trade down to get. Michael Turner isn't really work it. Calvin Johnson is a one of a kind reciever but I don't think any team is dumb enough to make that trade.

this trade would sound good but doesn't make a whole lot of sense for either side...the chargers would be giving up a valuable player in turner, who can spell tomlinson effectively and is a great kickoff returner, and the browns would be taking on the contract of another RB and more importantly one who could be a starter on another team(the browns already have a #1 back)...finally, the trade would be a legitimate risk for the chargers, as there is a possibility that the lions will draft johnson or that another team will trade up to #2 to take johnson(these are long shots, but still possible)

I don't see it happening. It would be GREAT for San Diego, but not Cleveland. Cleveland just invested a lot of money in Jamal Lewis. I don't see them spending a first round pick--especially as high as they have--to get another running back. There's no guarantee Turner is worth a first round pick, anyway. If you've heard a solid rumor, please cite the source, but Phil Savage would have to take leave of his senses to make a trade like that.

Cleveland is hot for Adrian Peterson. They signed Jamal Lewis to just a one year deal to keep the seat warm for him so I'd say they are gonna stick with that. Besides moving down 27 slots in the first round for Michael Turner is giving up waaaaay too much.

that is a move that makes since for both teams, but would also leave san diego vulnerable if, and this would be horrible, something happened to Ladanian Tomlinson. the only other rb they have is darren sproles.

I have not heard any rumors about MT leaving the Bolts. We are asking for a First and Third pick for him. He is definately worth it, but other teams may not want to pay that steep a price.
I personally would like to keep him. But I am not in the mix on this one.
