It depends on the size of the book, the genre, whether I like reading it or not, if there's a quiz on it/them, the vocabulary used, and what is the prize for reading the most? lol.

Normally, I try to read one book a month, sometimes 2. At that pace, I can really absorb the characters, plot, storyline. It just depends on the book.

usually about 7 per month. I like to read a book on saturdays. really, the rest of the week is too busy. when i do read, it's like binge reading. I have to start and finish a book within 12 hours, or i just forget about reading it at all. a long time ago i would go through up to 20 in a month, back before life was so hectic.

depends on the length of the book and how much spare time i have sometimes i can read about 9-10 books per months but if my finals are nearing then it would be about 3-4 and if i'm not in college (summer break) about 15-20 books... i'm not a fast reader... i took 2 days to finish reading james patterson's false impression... plus i'm not an english major or in the journalism course so reading is purely for pleasure..

It depends on how much extra time I have. Usually, I only manage a couple of books a month. But during the summer months and holidays when I don't work, I go through about 2 books a week.

I'm usually reading on average 2 books per week, so for me that would be about 8 books per month.

I would say a conservative average is 8-10 a month, more if I'm checking out young adult/children's.

It isn't just that I love to read, but it's part of what I do now, as I buy and then sell on-line. I'm also working on my own stories, so it's research, too.

It cuts down on sleep, though. I read Bridge to Terabithia last night/morning. Guess I'll probably sleep better tonight!

I can read about 12-14. Depending on my schedule, how good the book is, and how much time I have. I try to read one every other day. But then I end up reading them so fast I forget them (sometimes).

Sadly this number has fallen a bit since I started answering Yahoo Questions. I'm so sorry!!!

Usually more than one a month, but I'm in no hurry. Some books I bought several years ago--I'm just starting to read now.
