I tried calling customer support but their lines are jammed. Is anyone else having this problem with Norton? I thought this subscription was good for 1 year!

Heyyy

I had the same problem!
when i asked about that...they just told me that my licence was only for 3 months...calculating the time you've had it for...thats three months too... this usually happens when the software was provided with the computer..if u bought the software separate...id ask about it from the place you got it...it should keep for a whole year. Don't forget to take receipts and other papers of proof of purchase..

TAKE CARE :D

Good luck !

When you first installed Norton did you make sure your subscription was for 365 days? Sometimes people buy Norton but forget to put the product key and the trial period just runs out and asks you to renew. If you still have your product key handy why don't you try typing it in again. My computer at work has Norton and I'm at home right now so I can't tell you exactly where to go but try to click on the help button and search for info on product key.

If it was the free(trial) version it is only good for 90 days. If it's the paid version keep trying to get ahold of them. I had Norton and then switched to AVG a year ago because Norton kept letting viruses through.

I have gotten this so many times from Norton that I just quit with them. The last time - after I had paid - I was told my system didn't support the newest version. I now use AVG which is an excellent freeware. It updates automatically and my computer is great.

Yep, that happened to me. Go to the Norton web site. There is a place where you can e-mail a question and they will assign you a case number. Once you have the case number, you can get somebody to help you fix it. They'll walk you through it.
