How long do you think it takes to decide whether you really like a new job or not?

6 months to a year. Before that time you're still trying to figure out what you're doing, and you're the new person so people don't give you any respect. You have to be there long enough that you're sure it's the actual job you don't like rather than just not liking being new and not knowing anything.

we work to earn a living, if anyone finds a job they really enjoy they are amazingly lucky. it probably takes a month or so to decide if you can stand the job you have and whether you can continue doing it.

Mmm.. I don't thing 1 hour will give you the opportunity to get to know your co-worker completely as most will open up after few days or even weeks. Give yourself a month or so to adjust yourself to the surrounding as sometimes its just your over zealous intuition clocking overtime.

For me maybe 2 or 3 days. If I am bored within a week, then I start looking again.

However, to 'settle' into a new job, I would say say three or four weeks.

I would say give it a few weeks, if you hate it then, you will always hate it and nothing will change. However, if you sort of like it at the moment, you might grow to love it later on...

I give it a month, to get use to the job and the ppl, and if i am not comftable by then well who knows.
