You're in an unfortunate situation, but there is not a whole
lot you can do about it. The world is full of all different
kinds, however it is very difficult to deal with someone like
that. It's obvious that she has a real problem, and part of
it is not liking herself. The only thing you can do is just
keep on doing your job. This person gets off on making other peoples life miserable, because she is sick, and
the worst part is she doesn't realize it. Therefore she will
not be able to get any better. When you deal with her
just know she's really sick, and try not to let any friction
come between you both. In short, do your job and go
home, Leave her there, she can't harm you unless you
let her. Peace........

There's a book with the title: How to Deal With Toxic People. I bought and read it myself, but then passed it on to someone who needed it desperately- like you. Unfortunately I can't remember who the author was.... but google the title here- you might be able to find it.
My hubby was in the same situation.... he ended up leaving the place- refused to read the book I had , because he isn't a reader.
I highly recommend that you read this book, because you might end up becoming very depressed resulting from lack of sleep. (actually you already sound pass that- with the migraine and all) People murder for less than this kind of predicament.

I have had similar experiences with people that seem so evil it makes you sick to your stomach... and they worked with me.
The harsh reality is, your job should be your top priority! My grandfather worked for 25 years and only called out twice, once because his father died, and the second, he started having a heart attack. Your job is this: You go to work, work as best and as hard as you can, and then you get paid. You should never let some evil broad defer you from your duties!! My advice is that you learn to laugh her behaviors off and just focus on yourself. Don't let her win.. keep your job and try not to take anything personally. If everyone else hates her than atleast you know its not you!!! Learn to accept ppl for what they really are and you will be able to handle it. Plus tell yourself this: If you can stick it out with this job, what can't you do??
Or my other advice is to start writing down AND dating things she does to offend you, and if she breaks any rules you have good hard evidence!!

ok....you have my prayers...now you need to take some action...you have two choices..you can figure out what makes her tick and kiss her butt or you can contact a labor lawyer and see if you can make a case for a hostile work environment...you don't say what she is doing to make your life hell...but document everything she says to you. If there is anyone else that she is treating like this then have them do the same...get together and work out a strategy so you are all keeping good records of what is happening...be totally objective.....good luck

Do you know her boss? I would get together with the other individuals and make the issue public.. Maybe take it to the local paper.. Or have the person that was fired take the issue to court and use all of you as character witnesses..

maybe try to talk to her and see what she expects from you. try to get along, but in the mean time try to find another job that you will like, I know from experience if you don't like your job. you don't want to go. I'm at this one job the pay is so so. but I love the people I work with and that is worth more to me than anything. but try at least talking to her. good luck. Keep your head up.

I have tons of experience dealing with evil people, since I am one.
The only thing you can do at this point is sabotage.
