it depends on if you are using the basic or pro version. with the basic version you do run a greater risk but i have been downloading music with limewire for almost 3 years now and have acquired several Cd's this way. another way to prevent possible problems is to block people from uploading what u have

yup some have. It was on the news. But if you just keep your head under the radar you be ok. Don't be downloading on the mass and trying to give many to much info. I think the more you download the more you have to share, so the more you have to share then the more at risk you are. Thats why after a while I move my share folder music to a simple music folder that can't be seen online.

There is a possibility....it happened to all my friends who had Limewire. That's why I don't have it. I have Bearshare. Its way better!!
