well it is said that you are born on the cusp if born when the sign changes over.........and that you incorporate the energies of both signs when born on the cusp
but if you have a personal chart drawn up with your exact time, date and place of birth, it will tell you which sign you actually are
the cusp dates are there cos the sun does not change signs at exactly the same time/day each year

Its called a cusp.I was born on October 23rd 1984 at 8:05PM, I was born on the libra/scorpio cusp. Most charts would say that I am scorpio because I was born so late in the day(PM). But some charts say that scorpio doesen't begin until the 24th of oct. The time, date and place u were born has something 2 do with your sign. Sometimes it fluctuates on different charts. Some might say if u were born later in the day(pm) ur sunsign might be cancer. If u were born earlier ur sunsign could be gemini, or u just might share traits from both like me.

I am born on a cusp too -- October 24, which is Scorpio. Scorpio begins on either the 23rd or the 24th of October (different sites list different beginning dates). Libra is the sign preceding Scorpio; however, I don't see any Libra in me. A great deal of my friends have been Libras though. Maybe because my Rising Sign is also Scorpio, I don't see the Libra. But my friends could probably see my traits more clearly. It is very hard to describe ones self, I think.

I think it is referred to as being born on "The Cusp"? I was born on the 23rd of June which is also considered on "The Cusp".
It's very cool because you have traits of both Gemini and Cancer!

Your are in a cusp meaning you have both characteristics, you can be a two face like all geminis and to emtional and moody like cancers you are in between

If you do your chart (go to astro.com) you will see where the sun is in your chart in relation to the sign. What this is called is the cusp - when one sign transitions to the other.

Yeah well my friend who was born on July 21st, she claims she is half Leo, and I don't care, as long as she is as nice a person as she is!
And oh, I call her CLEO (Cancer+Leo) and that made her mad!

That is called being born on a cusp ( my mum was born on June 21st herself and I dunno if that's your birthday or what ).
People born on cusps usually have both characteristics of both signs.

u need 2 search EXACTLY wat time a certain horoscope goes up to. so u mite miss that horoscope by a second or a minute
