Do one room at a time.
Each day, only focus on one room to clean completely.
That way you will always feel like you have accomplished something.

Well you know I think that some times there so many things to be done , we don´t even want to start doing anything ,as we say to ourselves I will never get this finished today. Well this is what I do , I pick one room to clean I set my alarm clock for 15 min´s I see how much I can do in this time, I never take things to there rightful places until I have finished the room , all dirty washing leave out side the door your working in . When the alarm goes off stop what you are doing and have a rest , reward yourself with 1/2 with your feet up read a magazine . But if you think you would rather carry on then do so, This might help you out a little I know how it is when you have little ones to look after . you could also put your washing machine on at night , your clothes will be ready to hang up or pop into the dryer , It´s all theses 15 min´s here and there that help you get the things done

Make a plan of what chores you can do ahead of time and the a list of chores to to do daily-example once a week give every thing a thorough dusting, vacuum all common areas daily; bath rooms and kitchen you should clean thoroughly twice a week; or you can pick a certain day of the week to do a chore; Monday Bedrooms;Tuesday and Fridays bathrooms and kitchen;Wednesday and Saturdays vacuuming;set up a routine that is workable for you.
Also make sure you have all the supplies and products you wish to use available.

Go through and efficiently clean your home (declutter as well) and then you will only have to minimal tasks to do each day. The key is decluttering (getting rid of items you do not use) because that is the stuff that wastes your time.
Good luck!

to increase efficiency i start a load of laundry since it can be neglected after start, then i gather dishes and wash them since it makes other surfaces cleaner, then move to the countertop and stove in the kitchen, wiping everything from top to bottom in the house and getting one room done at a time instead of taking things from room to room as they come up i would make piles and then redistribute them those are just a few of the things i suggest makes my life easier
