I have groups of children from ages 3-13, so any suggestions could be really helpful.

Take them to a state/natural/camp/ parkground to see what their natural world is like. Let them see the natural animals, see natural fish, etc. etc.

Take them to a local dump or landfill. NOT LETTING THEM GO INSIDE IT THOUGH, just to see it. See that that beautiful world is going to waste.

Then start a recycling program, etc. to try to help the environment.

Good Luck!

To do this first get the permission from the parks department, take a group of the children to a public park, give them garbage bags and have them pick up loose garbage such as plastic soda bottles, cans newspapers, candy wrappers and most important give them gloves to use to keep their hands free of germs. It will be an excellent way to keep our environment clean and a day out in the fresh air. Rubberstampr
