I know that Youtube video are a file extension of .flv. I need something that will convert it to a file extension that will work in Microsoft Powerpoint 2007. Please help because if I don't get this video in I may fail my Civics class!?!?

first off calm down. if you can't get the vid in your project ask your teacher if you can show your slide then play the video directly from youtube.

Use Firefox and install the UnPlug extension. It can get the video from YouTube. Then feed the flv video into a program called Super which you can download and it will convert the video to any video format. Choose Windows Media format and embed it into your PowerPoint presentation. Good luck!

Try youtubex...see link below. They have a converter on the youtubex site you can download to convert from .flv to mpeg.

Try TubeHunter to save youtube videos into MPEG format which can be splited into BMP/JPEG very easily. After that, you can import thoes images into PowerPoint.
