Okay I am 37 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Mainly when i go to bed and try to lay down, i am getting the worst pains ever in my lower back. They bring me to tears. When im up and walking around they aren't as bad, but they keep waking me up in the middle of the night..
I try the left side, right side, I try kneeling and going on all fours. nothing is helping..

What do you think this is from? and is there anything i can do to help it?

You are having what they call back labor. I had it the last two and a half months with my first baby. I couldn't find anyway to stop it.
I couldn't find one single position that stopped it. ALL I could do was live with it. Ask your doctor if he has any ideas on what you can do. Also maybe try taking really warm to hot baths with some relaxing bath salts. Lavender is suppose to be relaxing

are you having uteran tightenting as well? if so, then they are contractions.
If not, you may want to consider trying to lay on your side with a pillow or two in between your knees and calves.
Always mention this kind of pain too your doctor, because you could be going into labor and just not have any of the other signs and symptoms.
For me, I get braxton hicks contractions only when I lay down to go to sleep at night and i'm 35 weeks pregnant, the only thing that makes them go away is if i get out of bed and walk around, and only recently have I begun to feel a little back pain along with them. I wish you lots of luck, I know its a hard time for you right now, but hang in there, the baby will be here soon! Congrats to you.

The baby may be pressing on the sciatic nerve or you are feeling that the baby has "engaged" or dropped into the pelvis ( are you breathing easier now compared to a few weeks ago or are you waddling more ? both are signs baby may have engaged)
Try sleeping on your left side with a wedge pillow between your knees to decrease stress on your pelvis. Some women say sleeping in an easy chair is more comfortable , and perfectly fine if you can get a good nights sleep that way.
Usually it's not too much longer after the baby has "dropped" or engaged that you will deliver ( on average 2 weeks) .
Good Luck and hang in there !

i got those. with all three of my kids i had a ton of back labor, with my oldest she was born 4 weeks early and i had back labor for like 2 days before she was born. i would rest as much as possible and drink plenty of fluids also start paying attention to if the back pain comes and goes when you're laying or is constant. this could be the very early stages of labor!

hey this may be the baby or weight of the baby putting pressure on your sciatic nerve, or any nerve at the bottom on the back. i get this in some possitions i lie in or sit in.
sometimes i can hardly move, i asked my doc if there is anything i can do to help/prevent this and she basically said when its sore to take painkillers, which dont help.
you should try speaking to your doctor who may be able to reccomend something to help you out.

You might be in back labor. The baby is sitting on your sacrum. So this might go on until you deliver. If the pain gets worse call your doctor.
