My best friend (who I secretly like) will be hanging out with me for her birthday, well, i like giving her surprises so here goes.
We both like tea so I'm gonna buy her this small box with different tea flavors in it. Also, I bought her this small Fossil watch. Silver chain and the background color of the clock is pink.
So I'm gonna hide it under the different flavors. So when I'd give her the tea box, I'll ask her to check the flavors and voila! the watch! Is it a good plan or could you suggest something better?

Um it's a good plan, but it needs something, like going and getting two mugs to put the tea in. When you go and get them, come back with the watch wrapped around the mug. I think that she'll like that better.
By the way, that's a great gift idea! I think that she'll love the watch, and the tea, for the fact that she likes tea. Bu the watch sounds really nice.

If it were me, I would wonder why the cellophane wrapping is off the box. My perception would be a) tampering or b) not a full box therefore a cheap gift.
I would tie a nice bow around it so she grasps the idea that it's a gift and there might be something else in there besides tea bags.

It's a good start, maybe the best surprise would be to tell your friend you like her and see what happens. Maybe she's hanging out with you on her birthday because she likes you.

Excellent plan. And she'll realise you like her without it being pushy. A watch is a good gift, not too-personal like a ring or a necklace. (Earrings are good too.)

it is really good my bf did something kinda like that and i was soo happy and then we did some other stuff but you arent technically going out w/ her yet so you shouldnt be going there wuite yet.
