Most (but certainly not all) women ovulate 14 days after the first day of their period, however sperm can live in the body for 72 hours (3 days) before so if you're goal is not to get pregnant, it would be foolish to use this method. Get yourself on some birth control or if you're as young as you sound, don't have sex!

Neither. You are most fertile 14 days BEFORE your period. A lot of people mistakenly think it is 14 days after your period, but that isn't true. So if your cycle was 26 days long, you would be most fertile on day 12.

It would be about 14 days from the first day of your period, and for the next 3 days. If your cycles aren't regular then this won't be the case, just try to estimate half-way between your cycle. And remember, sperm can live inside of you for up to 5 days. If you are trying not to get pregnant I'd suggest you use condoms and not try to guess what days you shouldn't have sex.

About 14 days Before you next Period starts.
I'm not saying 14 days after your first day of your last period because if you have a 36 day period that would NOT be right.
Best of Luck to you!

For most people it is right in between - halfway - so if you have a 28 day cycle then at day 14 you are most fertile, give or take a few days.
