l'm flattered if people would want to be a fan of mine. l'm familiar with most members here and many of them are really nice.
l'm busy like most of you so l cannot devote as much time as needed to connect with other members.
l understand your sentiments and somewhat felt that way initially. Good thing we are not compelled by Y!A to accept the offer. We are given the choice.

I like having fans. I want to be a fan of Judas Rabbi, but I do not consider him my "contact". There currently is no way for me to add myself as his fan.

It's kinda fun...it helps me keep in touch with people who I'm friends with on Answers. It's really not that much different than bookmarking someone in your browser.
I did notice that in the future, they will implement a feature to allow you to take your network private.

I don't even know how this fan things works. I have none and don't want any. To much responsibility in my real life, I don't want anyone here expecting anything from me.

its not worth it, i have fans and they never leave you alone where ever you are there right behind you running, yelling pushing people out of the way to get to you it get annoying fast.
