I have never heard of such a game. You can always play games offline as long as I know. You need to play certain games online because of the multiplayer.

broadband only means NO DIAL UP internet connection in order to play online

only if u have an internet port inserted in to your ps2 (look for any hook up connections that have the same symbols as shown on the back of ur computer if u have laptop it wont work).

I've never heard of such a thing, but it SHOULD be single player as well.
