When a best friend says it's "weird" to say "I love you", what is she really implying?

I think it is kinda weird if it's on a daily basis or something. But, for instance if you were leaving on trip and it was said it would be okay. If she says it's weird to say I love you then that is exactly what she means. She thinks it's odd for friends to say that to eachother on normal basis.

Maybe she's implying that she's uncomfortable with YOU saying that you love her. There are many kinds of love and love between friends is perfectly normal.

I do not think that it is weird, I think that your friend is sincere and obviously cares for you a great deal, I have several friends, in leaving their company, or saying good bye on the phone, we normally say, "love ya"

well, sometimes when theysay "ily" then that means like ily as a good friend... and sometimes it means that they have feelings for u. and when she says that it is wierd, maybe she doesnt like it when u say it. or maybe she feels wierd when you say it.
