Which should be inducted in the rock n roll hall of fame?
Personally I think Mariah isnt even rock n roll..........like,would guns n roses be inducted in the "pop" hall of fame? If there was one?? No....

Guns n' Roses. Mariah is in a different category. Kinda like Chris Sligh and Melinda Doolittle.

Well.. Michael Jackson's in the Rock and Roll HOF, and he's "The King Of Pop". It sucks how they bunch alot of different music under the title "Rock and Roll". I dont think Mariah should be in yet. I know she has sold a BUNCH of units, but still. And as far as G&R goes.. They could have been one of the greatest bands of all-time... But I dont think they deserve to get in either. They werent around long enough. But... that's just me.

You are probably going to call me a 'hater', but I have an opinion about "Hall of Fame" inductees and the like...it seems to me that just because someone records a great HIT, or makes ONE good movie, participates in ONE GREAT play, or anything like that - deserves their name in lights and now becomes the latest "Hall of Famer". I believe this is so wrong. What happened to the days when artists had to prove themselves? If nothing else they had mega hits, were actively known by more than one culture and were on tv, radio and in print media. Today, one hit wonders find their palms and heels on the streets of Hollywood and to me - non-deserving. Therefore, to respond to your question - I like both artists, have heard numerous songs by both, but to my way of thinking - neither one deserves any such recognition. They are both great artists and have made multi contributions to the recording world and most of us have sopped up numerous of their recordings, but at this stage, non have lived long enough, recorded enough, contributed enough to make the prestigious HALL OF FAME. Thank you.

no mariah carey is r&b which is singin guns n roses they are rock in roll so yeah my pick would be gunz n roses

personally i dont like either one. guns and roses is over rated to me, while mariah carey has some good songs for "dates" i dont like her much. But hey they both sold records, good for them.
