There isn't any kind of marking that says its maximum occupancy or anything like that anywhere on the bus.

A "typical" school bus like you see everyday is a 40-pack.

usually its posted somewhere on the bus. the maximum occupancy is usually determined at 3 per seat, but realistically unless they are small children 2 is the maximum.

On the certification label at the front of the bus on the right side above the windshield
