dupage illinois children shelters?

Question

I have a 7 yr old daughter and we normally clean out her room every season and bring the used toys to a drop box for children. Well I have been trying to explain to her about children that have nothing, and I don't think she gets it, so I would like to actually bring her to a shelter that exccepts used items so she could see it for herself.
Any ideas on where to go would help.
