I think that he should but if may breed conflict it's probably not a good idea. Look at how many time the WWE has had good ideas and then they backfire due to conflict and then we loose good wrestlers.

i think cena is an honorary member or dx. he isn't an official member of dx, but he is a tag team champion with shawn michaels.
