I wouldn't say my fashion sense was too bad before but i just want to dress better and look nice. However, i don;'t like american eagle or A&F. I have some lacoste stuff but its too expensive to try and put together a wardrobe in that price range. Any stores or brands that could help me?

I don't know your age, appearance, or lifestyle - so it would be hard to make some really good suggestions. Although, you do sound more casual and not too trendy. My best advice is to get some basics encorporated in your wardrobe. A nice pair of black dress pants, brown dress pants, pair of dockers (can get at JCPenney) beige colors are nice. Then get some nice button down shirts in nicer colors (lighter greens/earth tones, always a black one too). For shoes get a nice pair of loafers and a nice pair of dress shoes. Plan to spend money on your shoes, cheap shoes look cheap. I think you can get all the above for about $500.00 to get you started. My husband was the same way, now he looks comfortable, yet not ridiculous.

Well hollister is nice but kinda expensive, aeropostale doesnt have gr8 quality, old navy i would say is cheap and good quality i would go with them.

um well i was gonna suggest american eagle but nver mind! um u can try holister but it can be expensive also try wetseal cause they have tons of sales.. but i usaually shop at aeropostale

well..walmart has some good quality clothes. so does k mart and shopko. They are very cheap and look like crap, but they are so nice to the ladies

go to macys they have things of all brands, and its not that expensive.
