You have choice's, the first being to buy MS Office which is rather pricey if your only after Word.

Option 2 is to buy a copy of MS Works, which is a hell of a lot cheaper.

Your 3rd option is to get a pirate copy.

Or you go and download open office which is a free office suite and is almost exactly the same as MS Office!

You'll need to install Word as a program. You can purchase copies of it at http://www.microsoft.com - however, you'll find that it makes almost as much sense to just go ahead and install the whole Microsoft Office package - Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, etc.

The cheapest way to legally get MS Office is to buy the Student/Home edition for ~$149.

A free alternative (Office compatible) is openoffice.org

you can get it any where eg currys and pc world, microsoft eg xp and vista dont come with word preinstalled on it, so you you need to buy it seperately. its called microsoft office, its the on i use!

I recently brought a new laptop and it wasnt on there either,dont think they put it on anymore.You have to install microsoft office,I borrowed it from a friend to put on mine,if you cant do this you will have to buy it to put it on.

check if u have microsoft works its in there on mine under word processor ,its new name for word.

Go to Best Buy or Circuit City and buy it. They sell the programs...it might cost a bit, but if you need it, you need it.

You can buy it from pcworld. If you are a student or teacher the have a cheaper version of office you can buy.

You go out and buy it. I bought Home and Student edition 2007 at Best Buy and its awesome.
