how can i do an experament to prove that the oil usage is too much ?

i need to do an experament that in 50 or 100 years ahead the oil resources ganna be almost all used because of the acxees use of oil??

Find the estimate of the oil reserves in the world and the current production. Then take the usage over the last 50 years and make a steep curve upward. Continue that curve upward like we are goig to do that for the next 100 years, and we run out of oil in like year 35.
