eat lots of fruits and vegatables, stay away from excess sodium [like soda, ham, etc], eat more smaller meals instead of three large meals, and exercise..
the way weight lose works it that in order to lose weight, you have to be burning more calories than you are taking in..
doctors say to try a 1200 or 1600 calorie limit [obviously 1200 is going to take a lot of control]. the say that one pound of fat equals approx 3500 calories. soo what you want to try to do is... eat less EXERCISE ALOT, and watch how many calories are in what you're about to eat BEFORE you stick it in you mouth..
i did it [lost 30 lbs in TWO months] so i know if you try hard, you will too!!!
hope that helps, you can email me direct if you wanna know me.. ahahn90@yahoo.com. =]

Hi Crystal, Ever heard of the Cabbage soup diet? The Mayo clinic started it for heart patients that couldn't exercise to lose weight before surgery. i have used it several times to jump start a diet. 3 weeks is the longest I ever stayed with it. I lost an average of 4-8 lbs a week.OK, made a soup with cabbage, tomatoes(I like lots of canned in mine)red & green peppers, carrots, red&white onions. You get the idea, use colorful veggies and chicken broth for a base. Easy on salt,I use Ms Dash and lots of garlic. Gas is a problem,so, buy a gas relief product called Beano. For breakfast you can have watermelon, canaloupe,or strawberries and all you want. This is actually a healthy diet and you may get bored, but never hungry. You won't get weak either. Drink lots of water, flavor it with lemon and use a touch of honey or artificial sweetener. Just to be safe take a calcium supplement. Dairy is a no no. I KNOW you will lose weight. 3 months is a long time to be on this diet. I would go 2 weeks and diet normal(1200 calories) 1week and then pick back up. On your 1200 calorie week, try to establish good eating habits. you don"t want to gain back all your hard earned efforts. Good luck.

Cut out ALL sodas from your diet. Increase your daily water intake to at least the 6-8 glasses a day. Eat foods that are healthier and take more calories to digest than they contain, like celery and carrots. Use portions and suggested serving sizes as well.
You could also do the Atkins program, which does work safely when you follow the book correctly. The first two weeks sucks, but after that it gets better.

Stop eating after 7pm, and you will see a difference. Control your diet throughout the rest of the day (count calories, limit carbs and fats). Excercise when you can. Even taking a short walk can make a difference. Good luck.

I have heard of this cabbage diet that susan speaks of. I heard that it works great! Soup and all of those vegs. are really good for you. I'm sorry I am not really answering your question but I really like the soup idea. Good luck and try to start a regular excersise routine.
