This is what I do:
1. Sometimes parents only want you to babysit for a short ammount of time, like an hour. So I always charge $5 for the first hour.
2. For each additional hour after the first, I charge $4. So if I was babysitting for 3 hours, I would charge $13.
4. If there is more than one child, I charge $2 extra per hour, per child. So that would raise the first hour's wage to $7 and each additional hour to $6. So for 3 hours, I would charge
($7 + $6 x 2 kids) = $19.
This is a really good rule to go by and it is really simple to remember. $5 for the first hour, $4 for each hour after that, and $2 per hour for each extra kid.
If you don't think that this is enough to ask for, just raise each wage up my $1. I hope this helps and good luck with your babysitting!

If you're 16 or older I would say you should get paid at least $8 dollars an hour add a dollar for each additional kid
