What is a good amount to charge for beginner lessons?

My mom is a piano teacher and she charges $17 per half-hour and $35 per hour. But she also travels to your home. The prices would be a little lower if she didn't travel and had her students come to her.

It also depends on what part of the country you live in. My mom lives in the northern suburbs of Atlanta and there are many wealthy families willing to pay these prices plus tips.
