Like Petsmart would say, "a good rule of thumb is 1 inch of fish per one 1 gallon of water"...just you know 1 inch of mammal...well good luck with your orca mate!

History has shown Orca's do fairly poorly in the aquarium and tend to live just a fraction of the life span they would have reached in the wild. You can create an aquarium for training if you have extremely deep pockets, but don't throw around the world 'rescue' because there really is nothing moral about keeping these intelligent mammals in captivity when it clearly affects their well being.

I don't really believe any large whale or shark should be kept in public aquaria, and I doubt that you really understand the technicalities of keeping, moving, housing, and feeding such large animals. Whales protect each other, they care for their young, they care for the injured members of their pod....we have no business messing around in their world. They are sentient, very intelligent animals, and should not be caged. Also of note....if you cant spell training, you probably aren't ready for such a complex undertaking. If you want to work with fish, volunteer at an aquarium, and learn, learn, learn.
