no way do i feel like a failure because of divorce, unless i want to blame myself for everything, even things that were out of my control. bad things happen, and we can't let it steal our joy, or our future. some things we just have no control over. we can't make a man stop cheating, or abusing us, we can't make him go to therapy, and we can't make him stop living with his girlfriend and come back to us. just things we have no control over. i do not believe in death do us part, as there is often just too many things that are unforeseen that cause divorces. i am sure if people could work on it, and save it that they would have, but it takes two to make it work.

It takes two to drive a divorce, and I regret failing in a lot of areas in my marriage; but make no mistake, divorce is the ultimate failure, committed only by the one who files.

No, becuase he was the one that broke the vows, not me. He was the one who made the choices he did that led to the only solution possible....divorce. Even in counseling he still chose to continue lying and manipulating the situation to suit what he wanted. So no, I don't feel like a failure.

of course not, it's just part of your life that fails, but that doesn't mean you are a failure... Sometimes you just can't wish life as perfect as their is... maybe he isn't just the right one for you or you simply had the right love at the wrong time?... Plus, everybody is born a winner.
