the L3 and R3 are in the joysticks. If you press down on the left joystick, that is L3 and the same is for the right joystick and R3. you should hear a click when you do this

On a playstation Analog Dualshock and PS2 Dualshock 2 controller, L3 is the left stick pressed down, and R3 is the the main suitable option stick pressed down. some L3 and R3 applications: L3: transformations language (in the time of action picture) R3: Locks cam (In all THPS, THUG, and THAW) Makes subtitles seem (in the time of action picture)

The L3 and R3 buttons are the joy sticks pushed in. The left joystick on the controller pushed in is L3 and so on.

R3-- you press the right directional analogue stick straight down.

pushing the knob down on the left and right joysticks. I do not mean as in up or down I mean as if you were pushing a button.
