the L3 and R3 are in the joysticks. If you press down on the left joystick, that is L3 and the same is for the right joystick and R3. you should hear a click when you do this

The L3 and R3 buttons are the joy sticks pushed in. The left joystick on the controller pushed in is L3 and so on.
