Why can't they just stick to detail and the original reason why they are angry?

helps them feel better
but eventually they'll stop if they don't get a negative respose from you because that's all they're really looking for-for you to get mad, fight back, and humiliate yourself even more
so DON'T respond!!!
they'll give up when they find something new
