Hmm. How about the main character has synethesia, colorful hearing. That's really interesting to write about and not too many people even know it exists! If YOU don't even know what I'm talking about, try wikipedia.org and type in 'synethesia' as your keyword.

I've suggested to someone else "Slipping Away"
Really good story about a girl who is trying to grow up but her friend is not really her friend and it's good.
I highly recommend it!
