hi , when i was at my midwife the other day she advised me that the baby had dropped down into my pelvis, around 4/5ths of the way.(she didn't do an internal exam she just felt my tummy)
well this was on wednesday and last night and today i have pain and pressure underneath my bump right down the bottom.
does this mean the baby has dropped fully now?
i could hardly turn in bed or anything last night ,
ps i am 35 weeks and i am not having any contractions

all this means is that the baby is settling deeper in your pelvis and getting in position for birth. they are known to "drop" as early as 35 weeks, but you may not go into labor for another month or so. So i wouldnt worry too much about it. My baby dropped at 35 weeks and now I am 37 1/2 and still pregnant! it all depends on your baby and if hes ready to come out or not.

As far as the pain goes, I know how you feel. I have had that pain for almost 3 weeks now. It is not fun and it does hurt. All the pain means is that the baby is resting more on your pelvic bones and making you uncomfortable.

It doesn't necessarily mean that the baby has fully dropped.
I am pregnant with my first, and also 35 weeks along. I have the same pain I went to my o.b. and he said she hadn't fully engaged into the pelvis yet, but the soreness came from her efforts to make it down there. Slowly but surely, the baby will get settled, but I guess its good to let the process be gradual.
congratulations too you and good luck! when are you due? I'm due April 9
