Well if they do decide to do that I doubt if we'd have any say in it any way. They're taking over our lives and now our bodies?
Don't give them any more "great" ideas.

Great idea, provided u could do it so the stage when the embryo/fetus is very small for the 1st 3+1/2 years so its like the early stages of pregnancy, where the woman hardly knows she has a baby. This would be 3+1/2 years of not being able to get pregnant again and not having a period. most importantly it would limit the number of kids a woman could have, which could block the exponential population growth that will ruin our planet.

I dare you to walk up to a woman in active labour and say that. Boy, you are either very brave or very silly. In any case, extended gestation is not the answer to teen pregnancy. Better access to birth control, adoption, and abortion would help. So would getting rid of Republikans. Educating our children about abstinence is another fundamental tool.

That gives me something to think about. "shudder" is the correct term. I don't like it. We will no longer be we...but parts of other we's all over the world.

Not a good idea at all, the population would die off eventually. No one would want to gestate for 4 years.........................
an elephant, maybe!

Well, most people don't have babies in their teens so it really wouldn't be fair to the majority of the world.
